With over 5 years of experience, Itzel has specialized her practice in social security projects, as well as in labor law.
She joined the Firm in 2021 in our Guadalajara office and is currently part of the area of Tax & Customs, Labor & Social Security.

Practice Area
Itzel has provided advice to a large number of national and international clients in litigation, negotiation, structuring, and execution of various complex large-scale social security operations in Mexico.
In terms of prevention, Itzel has been involved in the preparation of private audits, compliance programs, risk detection, and mitigation in social security matters for companies in the construction, automotive, telecommunications, as well as distilled spirits and liquor industries.
In consultancy matters, Itzel has advised multiple clients in all phases necessary to start operations in Mexico, as well as in merger, spin-off, employer substitution, and self-correction processes before the authorities. Likewise, she has assisted various governments in the preparation of state legislation on social security matters.
