Academic and Professional Activities
2024 - Participated in advising Lululemon on the reacquisition of its franchise in Mexico, including the evaluation of all lease agreements for store locations, as well as the permits and authorizations associated with these properties
2023 – Participated in advising Grupo Bafar, S.A.B. de C.V. in a MXN$9 billion spin-off from one of its main subsidiaries with the purpose of creating a new multi-purpose financial company, an unregulated entity, for the provision of relevant financial services as part of Grupo Bafar's corporate restructuring, as well as the incorporation and registration with the National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (CONDUSEF) of said new entity, with the purpose of promoting the strategic expansion of Grupo Bafar's financial and commercial activities as one of the main food companies in Mexico.
2023 – Participated in advising Unilever NA Sourcing West, S. de R.L. de C.V. (Unilever Mexico), an affiliate of Unilever PLC., in the acquisition of three properties in Nuevo León, for the construction of a new regional manufacturing plant to manufacture beauty and personal care products, with a total investment in said new manufacturing plant of approximately US$400 million.

2022 – Participated in advising Banorte in the preparation and execution of an alliance with Habi (Latin American proptech), to develop and offer financial products and services to housing users through Habi's technological platform, which operates in Mexico under the name TuHabi.
2022 – Participated, together with the teams in Mexico, the U.S. and Germany, in advising Vorwerk & Co. Eins Gmbh, JAFRA's German parent company, on the sale of the operations of the cosmetics company JAFRA in Mexico and the United States to the retailer Betterware for US$255 million.
2022 – Participated in advising Servicios Comerciales Amazon México, S. de R.L. de C.V. (Amazon Mexico) in the preparation and execution of a lease agreement for a property for storage and commercial distribution use located in the State of Morelos, Mexico.
2025 – Advised Tiktok Mexico in the implementation of certain policy related to data privacy.
2024 - Advised Four Seasons in the drafting of the Privacy Notice for employees applicable to all employees located in Mexico.
2024 - Advised Samsung SDS America (Samsung), with the preparation of a legal opinion on the compliance with various obligations related to personal data in Mexico.
2024 - Advised Beiersdorf (Nivea, Labello, EucerÃn, La Prairie), in updating its Intra-Group Data Transfer Agreement to include the terms applicable to the Mexican jurisdiction for the transfer of personal data between companies of the same corporate group, located in different jurisdictions, including Mexico, the United States, Europe and Asia. |
